Yoga
At Lila Body & Mind Practices you can practice vinyasa yoga and yin yoga in private or group classes.
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa can be translated as “to place in a certain way”. In this active practice several postures (asanas) are practiced in a flowing sequence with a focus on clear alignment of body and mind. Muscles are mobilized, strengthened and stretched in synchronization with the breath in order to stimulate and to stabilize energetic clarity and balance.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a calm and inwardly focused yoga practice. The emphasis lies on energy lines - meridians according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) – and on fascia, joints, and bones. Fascia is lengthened, tendons, ligaments, and joints are mobilized, and bones are strengthened. At the same time, blockages in the energy lines can be alleviated in order to promote a smooth flow of energy and to nourish the inner and outer balance.
